Languages

There are six languages typically used throughout Tarocath:

• Va, spoken in Kaviulnu, Varyaklum, and Kasiel
• Aena, spoken in Avulte and Bemdem
• Gadduk, spoken in Yatan, Unlavish, and Vaukveubor
• Auru, the ceremonial language of the Church of Ilur and widely used in Varyaklum
• Songvel, spoken by the Aetoth peoples
• The Merchant's Tongue, an ancient common language widely known throughout the continent

There is also a significant population of Undercommon speakers in Kaviulnu, due to their trade with Underdark caravans.
